With the support of the Communauté d’Agglomération du Pays de Gex. Gladys, 78, a lively and independent former hairdresser, sees her autonomy questioned after a minor health scare that alarms her daughter Agnès, determined to “keep her safe.” The arrival of Lina, a young woman at a turning point, rekindles her deep desire for freedom. As her daughter’s control tightens, Gladys sets an old camper van back in motion, filled with memories, with the help of a group of unruly friends. She chooses the road over quiet disappearance, and asserts, until the very end, her right to decide how she lives her life.

When one of them accidentally crushes a snail, their decision to organize a funeral brings their different religious backgrounds to the surface and sparks a reflection on tolerance.
